Adiyb of ADNTV to FIMA 2022 in Morocco

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adiyb Muhammad.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

I grew up in Washington D.C. I am a Vietnam Era Veteran who believes in constant never-ending growth and improvement of desired skills. My years of varied experiences from working as a laborer in my teenage years, medical specialist in the military, a telemarketer, bank manager, mortgage broker to coming into technology space in the early 2000’s as a successful major accts executive providing internet connectivity and document management solutions to fortune 1000 companies and government agencies. While all along selling body oils, and jewelry over the years on the side. I stumbled into acting at 50 years old, decided I loved the business and focused on creating a career that evolved into a production company Black Carpet Productions that produced stage plays, taught an acting class and casted both film and stage projects. As a result of my love for creating value by providing opportunities for others like myself I became a producer, cinema director, speaker and acting coach. This culminated in me becoming an Amazon best-selling author and entrepreneur. I am currently the VP of sales & marketing for African Diaspora Network TV (ADNTV) which is why I am in Morroco for the International Festival of African Fashion 2022 (FIMA) with the amazing Alphadi Seidnaly it’s founder. Alphadi was the 2016 UNESCO Artist for Peace. So for me to have the opportunity to work with him in this way is a great honor. United Filmmakers LLC is a film and TV distribution company. Here I am

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

My biggest challenge was to come to the realization that I had to get out of my own way in order to achieve desired results. I initially did not recognize the advantages of continually growing in knowledge and developing specific skills associated with what I wanted to become. I was like most people I came up in an era where I was told “get a good job, save your money” but quickly realized that was not the answer for me, but I was not initially prepared educationally enough to focus in a consistent way to acquire success, I stumbled through trial and error for many years before I realized how important it is in area of pursuit to have a coach who can help you shorten your bridge to a successful outcome. Once I discovered this perspective I began to seek out coaches and instructors who helped me acquire the skills, tools, strategies and most importantly the mindset to reach certain outcomes. Thus here I am today with certain achievements under my belt. I can honestly say I would not have got here without coaching from Dr. Boyce Watkins Black Expert Empire, Tony Robbins, Forbes Riley, Anthony Browder, Dr. Claude Anderson and others, instructions from their books, courses and masterminds I invested in to program myself for success. I provide through my teaching of others the same tools, skills and strategies that worked for me. my mantra is “Mindset and Talent Create Unlimited Possibilities” This adds to my clarity.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I specialize in assisting those 18-60yrs in recognizing the specific skills, strategies and tools to change their lives in the way they want. I employ my “Creating the Current” technique that I originally developed to help actors create authentic performances. I discovered I utilized these techniques in my own life to become successful. Over the last 10 years of my class evolved into a life coaching course based on my own experiences which led to my becoming a theatrical and film producer, cinema director, transformational speaker and now a streaming platform executive with African Diaspora Network TV ( ADNTV)
I have developed the ability to manipulate and create circumstances in my life through being cognizant of how important our decisions of who, how and what we allow into our purview. The more purposeful we are in our activities and the people we choose to spend our time with, the more we can predict certain outcomes even with the uncertainty that’s inherent in life in my opinion. I have proven over and over again with the right thinking you can reach certain types of outcomes unique to who you are and what you want in your life. My Creating The Current (CTC) approach was first mentioned in the 2016 Amazon best seller “Masters of Success” by Celebrity Press. I was also designated one of “America’s Premiere Experts in Production the same year so my overall instruction works for those who commit.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

The best piece of advise I could give would be to “be still” for a time each day and listen to how you feel inside, think about who and what you really want to be, not what you want to do. Imagine how you want to live your life. Once you get that sense, identify mentors or coaches who are successful in those areas and learn from their experiences directly or indirectly ( I highly recommend directly if you can) invest in courses, group coaching and or masterminds to get clarity on the needed skills, tools and strategies of success. Read their autobiographies and pay particular attention to their failures and how they overcame the situations they found themselves in. For me those are where the biggest lessons learned that reflected in some way my personal experience. “It’s not how you fall it’s how you get up” that reflects your true strengths. I would suggest one the biggest things to be aware of is your current situation and how you want to improve upon it in some way. Do understand that most of the coaches you encounter can be distinguished by the results they have gotten in their own experiences. This tells you rather or not they can help you. Verifiable achievements and successful track record is what you look for in a coach as well as one’s you resonate with how they communicate. Then you need to commit to the instruction till you get the result.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success means to me “that you are in the process of being engaged purposely in an activity that you choose to be engaged in” that is success in and of itself. I also believe that your measure of success is in direct relationship to how many people you provide value and are willing to help, serve or benefit in some positive way by utilizing the products, service or information you provide. Success is not always measured in money or material gain it can be very unique to the individuals values. The successful account executive that decides to stay at a company selling it’s products because that’s what gives them a sense of fulfillment is a success, or the maintenance man who relishes doing his job well because of all the skills he acquires to be able to maintain his own home, that’s a success or the teacher that is committed to seeing his class succeed and is willing to go the extra mile to tutor those in his class who need it after class hours he or she is a success. Anyone who chooses to do whatever it is they are doing particularly in the service of others is a bona fide success story in my view.

What’s next for you?

Continuing to grow in knowledge and skills to have a positive impact on the progression of thousands of people through my “Creating The Current” technique trainings. To help people experience some of what I have over the years, since discovering this way. I’ll continue to teach in various settings with older and younger people. Speak where I can to share secrets for mastering success in health, wealth and lifestyle. To expand creating theatrical and cinema projects that tell interesting stories. Through the companies I am associated with continue to provide opportunities for theatrical and film creatives see their projects exhibited on stage and screen and now through our film and tv programming distribution streaming platform African Diaspora Network TV (ADNTV) see their quality projects on Amazon, Apple TV, ROKU and both the IPhone and Android mobile devices.
