Today we’d like to introduce you to Sonia White.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Well, I am Sonia White, a USAF Veteran and Healthcare Worker. I am a brand recognition strategist who loves to help people gain credibility and visibility. I so through projects and events such as the Historic Presidential Lifetime Achievement Awards; where I honor outstanding leaders in the Community, this year we are honoring leaders such as Officer Tommy Norman & Houston hometown Hero “Trae Tha Truth.”
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Oh, for sure, some of the challenges I had to overcome along the way were, doing such an auspicious event during a pandemic, sponsorship among others. Being in the healthcare system I have seen people gone from death’s door to full recover and, this past year and a half, I have seen our nation overcome incredulous hurdles, battles, division, and unrest. It helped me to look at the bigger picture, we are a nation of strong people, and we rise in the midst of adversity. Which is why there is no time like the present to recognize those who have risen above the call of duty to display exemplary character and unparalleled leadership to make their communities a better place. The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Awards exist to recognize these individuals for their commitment to cultivating lasting change.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I am in the business of helping people, this is why I am in healthcare, it’s why I run a non-profit to help young men to become strong leaders and as mentioned earlier it’s why I help brands get recognition. Why should people choose me over the competition? There is no competition, I am in a space where collaboration beats competition.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Pray. Be intentional about your goals and serve people, it’ll come back to you in good measure.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Focused, hard work.
