Exclusive Interview with Denn-warren Tafah

Today we’d like to introduce you to Denn-warren Tafah.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

I fled Cameroon to the United States with my family because of persecution and fear for our life. When we got to the states, we lived with 10 other family members in one house. It was tough and difficult being away from home and having to learn a whole new way of living. Food was different, clothes were different, schools were different everything was different. In college I got saved and started to find myself and a part of my purpose. As a kid i was naturally interested in hair and skin stuff because kids would make fun of me of my skin and hair. Called me blacky, darkie, midnight, African booty etc. My hair used to be very nappy and dry. In Africa we didn’t have the privilege of doing stuff like that, so I never knew. When I got to college, I started a business to help me pay my college tuition and I just got fired from my kitchen job. The business is a health and beauty business built around my pain. I started it with just $84 and in 2 years I scaled the business to making 10k + a month and 6 figures a year. I only did it by the grace of God because it was all by my self.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Most of the troubles have come from being an immigrant and not having access to resources and normal commodities. Plenty of times I’ve come to eviction notices. Plenty of times I’ve seen my car towed away. Plenty of times I’ve cried in the shower because life was breaking me financially. I stopped eating every day and would just eat 5 times a week, rest of the days I would drink water and water fast. That’s what I had to do to cut expenses. I opened a store in the mall and received a lawsuit and went bankrupt and had to shut it down permanently.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

My name is Denn-Warren Tafah, and since launching Tafah Oil in 2018, this luxury health and beauty product line it has exceeded the small business goals and is more than prepared for larger avenues and opportunities. With over 150k followers on all social platforms, and videos surpassing 50 million views, Tafah Oil has created a buzz in the media about our products. From features on sites such as Hollywood Unlocked, Shaderoom, and a mention on Kylie Jenner’s Instagram, we’ve made more than 150k for the year in sales.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

Pick one skill and master it. 3 days to make it a habit, 21 days to make it a lifestyle and 10,000 hours to become a master.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success, comes in 3 aspects, Body, Soul and Spirit. Body success is equivalent to wordly success, the one most people are aspiring after. Soul success is Mental Health, inner happiness. SPirtual success is connecting and building a relationship with a higher power.

What’s next for you?

My goal is to find people who are interested in starting their own brand. I am a manufcutere and I’m opening my products for private labeling.

Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more?
