Exclusive Interview with Tam R Luc

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tam R Luc.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

I have been an entrepreneur for over 20 years with many ups and downs.
Most of those years as a side hustling entrepreneur around a corporate job in commercial real estate. My side hustle was sometimes real estate investing and sometimes marketing services and coaching. Either way I could never reach $100,000 in my business. After my mom passed away in 2016 I finally figured out a way to turn my passion of writing into helping women write and leverage books to create business success.

In 2018 things went well enough that I was able to leave my corporate job finally creating a six figure income from home and around my family.
The pandemic is when Women Who BossUp was born.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

My first big challenge was to get over myself. I think that took me the longest time. I had to learn how to manage my emotions, time and distractions. That is why I wasn’t seeing success for so many years. Now, my challenges come from learning how to act fast when it is needed and take your time when it’s needed. It is hard to know when you do which. Mostly, entrepreneurship responds best to speed. But sometimes, not moving is the best answer… what for the answer to come clearly. Having to do things over and over isn’t cost or time effective.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

In 2022, we had a six-city book tour in the first quarter of the year reaching 1100 people in attendance. During that same four months, we filled 3 books and created opportunities for PR and marketing of those projects through-out the rest of the year.

The way this business has worked is we collect 16 authors per book, then put the book together. Then host events, with sponsors, speakers and start over again.

However, we are now shifting to a membership model. As a premier member of our community, you get the global book tour, visibility, networking, and an opportunity to be in one of our Women Who BossUp books.

We expect to reach over 1 Million women around the world and support them to BossUp in their business.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

You get to learn and grow and boss up. I’ve paid big money to learn lessons. I have waisted money and time. I have always learned something. Just like college. Some classes cost more. If you have to pay $10k for a class… never forget the lesson that the class provided. Also never forget… The BossUp never ends.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success is so subjective. Success is happiness. Whatever makes you happy… and satisfied… That is success.

What’s next for you?

We are growing the Women With Vision International brand and continuing with the Women Who BossUp movement around the world.

Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more?
