Franco Saudade, born in Caracas, Venezuela, represents an identity built with disparate pieces. Raised between Caracas and Madrid, and seasoned in Lisbon and Berlin, his influences make up a potpourri of styles that converge in an aesthetic representative of the values that define his generation: globalization, multiculturalism, a feeling of irrelevance, and a synergy between technology and traditional culture.
With only one first single, “Florecer” (2021) and one EP, “Limerencia: Bedroom Sessions” (2022) released, Franco Saudade’s lyrics are an introspective journey into the human soul, where he addresses universal themes such as love, loss and nostalgia, wrapped in captivating compositions that stand out for their evocative and amazing vocal ability, and demonstrate an unmistakable musical style that embraces Venezuelan folklore, bossa nova and lands on bedroom pop.
His new single, “Equilibrio”, produced by Amparo Sánchez, is now available from 06/30 through Mamita Records, and opens a new stage for the artist by creating an immersive atmosphere between feelings of search, failed love and light sounds. and fresh to a danceable rhythm.
