The organization’s initiatives include awarding scholarships for agricultural training, covering travel and lodging costs for students to attend ag competitions and exhibitions, and funding the expansion of agricultural facilities for hands-on learning opportunities.
One recent beneficiary is Olivia Braswell, a 19-year-old farmer in Madison County, Georgia. Olivia received a $5,000 scholarship from HireSmart Cares to attend a comprehensive artificial insemination (AI) course in Senatobia, Mississippi. The training equips her with advanced skills in cattle reproduction, which she will apply to her herd of Jersey cows and share with neighboring farmers.
