Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Walker.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
Thank you so much for the opportunity to share. Its with the hope that my story inspires others that may feel overwhelmed or stuck that I’m so grateful to share!
About a year ago, As I worked with clients in my private coaching practice, Laura Walker Coaching in Southlake, TX, I began to noticed patterns playing out amongst my clients. Patterns of hurt, loss, anxiety, and sadness infiltrated their lives keeping them stuck and overwhelmed.
As we worked together, it was a privilege to watch my clients take the tools they were given as we worked together and transform their lives into something joyful and lifegiving. They were experiencing true happiness, hope and abundance for the first time in a long time…if ever!
I decided I wanted others to see and hear what I was seeing and hearing! I knew others would be truly inspired by these amazing and inspirational stories of transformation and overcoming. Forty of my clients and family contributed their short stories of facing pain and fear and transforming their lives to be included in my book, Up Until Now. The book launched at Barnes and Noble in Southlake, TX November 5, 2022 and went to #1 International Best Seller in four countries on Amazon that day! Thirty-three of the forty Co-Authors attended from all over the United States. They were lined up by chapter in the book and signed hundreds of books for eager readers. It was MAGICAL!
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Life has served up a content rich curriculum over the years of my life! As the mom of four grown kids and having navigated two divorces, the experiences, preferred and unpreferred have ALL instilled life lessons that allow me to be, do, have, and give everything I possible can back to my family, friends and clients.
I started my Transformational Coaching Business full time in 2020. Many people would have said I was crazy to start a new business in the middle of Covid-19 however, I decided to not let circumstances and conditions deter me. I was determined and believed in what I was doing to serve others. Within eighteen months, I had retained 127 clients from coast to coast. We were meeting daily via Zoom and lives were being changed right before me eyes. It was amazing!
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
I am a Life Mastery Consultant, Public Speaker and International Best Selling Author. In my private practice, I specialize in teaching people patterns of success through proven, reliable systems. While working together, we put tools in my clients toolbelt and teach them how and when to use those tools to get the results that are longing for personally and professionally.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
Do different things to get different results! Up Until Now, what you have done either has worked or has not worked. If it has not worked to the degree that you would love it to work, then invest in YOU! Get into a growth plan and manifest the life you would love to live! none of us are guaranteed tomorrow….so act today and design a new reality for yourself! It’s really just that simple! My favorite thing to do is give my clients the EASY button!
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
It means thriving versus surviving in every facet of life; mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially. I call it Full Spectrum Success. There’s a balance and a synergy that feels as if you are living life instead of life living you! You swimming with the current instead of struggling and fighting against the everyday grind.
What’s next for you?
Who knows? maybe another book? I loved the creative process of the book and all the effort and heart it required to create it. Travel for sure!
Last year l travelled the world for four months seeing clients via Zoom as I travelled. It was amazing cant wait to go back to Europe! The sky is the limit…I cant wait to meet all of the new clients coming my way this year.
One thing is for sure…It will be amazing because i know how to design and create a life I love living and I love teaching people how to do the same!
