I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

As a young African American male, over the years I have experienced negativity not only in my profession but in my personal life due to my career and age. My biggest obstacle was not allowing negativity or obstacles to prevent me from getting where I wanted to be.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

Having had a stellar career in public service, I seek to solidify my law enforcement commitment to serving Dallas County residents by running for Dallas County Constable Office Pct 3. Why choose me? Well, the real question is Why settle for less? I bring an infusion of new perspectives and experiences needed to make the impactful decisions that are critical in leading Dallas County to new frontiers in today’s time. Driven by my guiding principles; Character, Compassion and Commitment, I am ready to work with community organizations, county officials and residents to build a county with a high quality of life and efficient public services that work for the people.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

Everything has a timing. Sometimes it’s not a “no,” it’s not right now. Keep going until you are happy in life doing what makes you happy. Don’t allow fear to hinder you from success.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success to me is doing something you enjoy that makes you happy regardless of the financial benefit and the negativity you may receive.
