Vegan Foodie Fest 2024: A Celebration of Plant-Based Cuisine and Community Support

By Publicity For Good

Vegan enthusiasts and music lovers alike are invited to attend the Vegan Foodie & Music Fest, set to take place on Sunday, November 10, 2024, in Knightdale, North Carolina. This unique event combines a love for vegan cuisine with live entertainment, shopping, and a strong focus on community support. Originally planned as just a vegan foodie fest, the event has been transformed into a fundraiser for Western North Carolina (WNC), following the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene.

An Event with Purpose

In light of Hurricane Helene’s impact, the event now has a charitable mission, with proceeds directed toward relief efforts for affected WNC communities. Attendees are encouraged to bring supplies for donation at entry, with an updated list of needed items provided closer to the event. This shift underscores the festival’s commitment to celebrating plant-based living while supporting a community in need.

Vegan Delights for All

The Vegan Foodie Fest will offer an array of delicious plant-based dishes from a variety of food vendors, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy. Unlike other festivals, tickets include access to the vegan culinary offerings. Different ticket options allow attendees to choose their preferred experience:

  • Admission Ticket (no food): $15 (bring a new article of winter clothing and get in for free, no food included)
  • Foodie Ticket (includes food): $25
  • Foodie Ticket for Two (includes food): $40
  • Children (12 and under attend for free, food not included)

Those opting for the Foodie Ticket will have the chance to sample small-sized dishes from participating vendors, while also having the option to purchase more food if desired. Festival-goers will also get the opportunity to vote for their favorite dishes across different categories, with winners receiving prizes and bragging rights.

Attendees are guaranteed to leave satisfied, as the event focuses on delivering value with high-quality, diverse vegan food options from vendors such as, Soul’s Kitchen, Season it Up Vegan, Up Rooted Vegan Cuisine, and more.

Shopping and Live Entertainment

In addition to the food, attendees can explore a range of ethical, vegan products offered by the festival’s vendors. From cruelty-free wellness items to plant-based snacks and more, festival-goers can shop while enjoying their meals.

A music festival will run throughout the day, with live performances by featured artists Stephen Vincent, lead singer of Knockdown Shack and Blair Cook, lead singer and guitarist of local band, Black Bird Barn all while providing a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. Guests can relax and enjoy the entertainment while savoring their food or shopping, making the Vegan Foodie & Music Fest a well-rounded event for all ages.

Family-Friendly and Free Parking

Families are welcome to attend the festival, with children under 12 admitted for free (though food is not included). The event promises a day of fun, food, and entertainment for all, with plenty of activities to keep both adults and kids engaged.

Parking at the event venue is free, allowing attendees to arrive early, find a spot, and spend the day enjoying everything the Vegan Foodie & Music Fest has to offer without worrying about additional costs.

Supporting WNC and Enjoying a One-of-a-Kind Experience

At its heart, the Vegan Foodie & Music Fest is not only a celebration of plant-based living but also an opportunity to support the WNC community in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. In addition to purchasing tickets, attendees will have the chance to donate needed supplies for relief efforts at the event. Bring a new article of winter clothing and get a free admission ticket (food not included).

Whether seasoned vegans or newcomers to plant-based cuisine, attendees will find something to enjoy at the Vegan Foodie Fest. The event offers an excellent opportunity to indulge in delicious vegan food, discover new products, and enjoy live entertainment, all while giving back to the community.
