Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Liles.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m a Life Coach and Spiritual Teacher on a mission to transform and elevate the lives of 1 Million Women. I have a large following on Instagram and I run a 6 figure business with numerous SOLD OUT events. Many people think I just woke up one day feeling confident, bold and courageous. This isn’t true.
Once upon a time, I was broke and broken. I know exactly what it’s like to be begging for love and acceptance while being confused about my life purpose and holding back my OWN happiness by putting EVERYBODY first… except me! I believed God had more in store for me. I had to go through my own transformational journey before I could truly help anyone else.
After I had spent years working on myself, my vision became clearer. I could see many women who were in need of guidance, direction, and purpose. I decided there that I wanted to become a Coach and help women become the highest expression of themselves possible. I studied psychology and I started coaching friends and family. Before I knew it, I was being referred to other people, and it grew organically from there. I am humbled and grateful for the journey. Although I believed the vision I had for myself was possible, I never imagined I would be in a space where I can say I own a 6 figure business with team members in the USA and UK all passionate about the mission of changing lives. I am just so grateful.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
The biggest challenge was finding my voice. I had suppressed many parts of me. I was a victim of life, attending to everyone else’s needs but my own and never speaking up for myself. Then one day I got to a place so low I had to decide whether I was going to continue to allow life to keep pushing and pulling me or whether I was going to step into my power – the power that God has gifted us all with – the power to create. I had to shift my mindset and my way of thinking. It wasn’t easy. I had to invest in myself and get the right coaches to support me with breaking through my limiting beliefs and creating a new reality.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
Through my House of Her online academy, I teach women how to retrain their minds to think differently so they can get themselves out of challenging situations and become the author of their lives. I believe most of the pain and suffering we experience arrives from an error in thinking. My goal is not to teach women more information, they are already knowledgeable and well versed in the self-development world. I guide women to mentally strip down and release all the toxic thoughts they have been harboring for years so they can create space for the NEW! I do this by my weekly classes inside House of Her. In the two years I have been running House of Her, I have missed a single one of my classes that I teach. I’m committed and passionate about seeing women transform. It lights me up. Many women have been with me in the academy since the beginning. They have gone on to develop meaningful loving relationships, create businesses, charities, and even become coaches themselves. The results are phenomenal.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
I have two pieces of advice that I believe are KEY to finding success.
Number 1 – Work on yourself. Stop trying to take the shortcut. Invest in your personal development – find a coach you can trust to get you to the next level. It’s impossible to find new solutions with old ideas, behaviors, or patterns. A coach will be able to pull you out of your limiting story and give you clear direction and guidance.
Number 2 – Get to know who you are at the core – go deeper than just positive thinking and watching motivational videos. Develop your thinking skills. Start spending time away from the noise of the world and listen to your own voice. Develop a new relationship with yourself, one that is free of blame, guilt, and fear.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success is a journey that differs from person to person. You will find success when you stop looking for it.
What’s next for you?
My focus is on building House of Her academy globally and impacting the lives of 1 Million Women. I have so many exciting projects – books, events, programs that I have planned and envisioned for the women who are aligned with my mission. Inside House of Her, we will be releasing brand new courses and classes on emotions, confidence, mind power… and so much more, using our tool of self-analysis and self-discovery. I am really excited!
