For more than twenty years, Deanna LaRue built a respected career as a Certified Financial Planner guiding clients through some of the most complex financial moments of their lives. From business exits to sudden wealth and generational planning, she helped individuals navigate major transitions with clarity and strategy. Now, LaRue is entering a new chapter. She has stepped away from traditional securities licensing to launch a financial confidence platform designed specifically for high achieving women who want a more approachable way to organize and lead their financial lives.
Her company, Boujee Boss Lady LLC, represents a shift in how financial education can be delivered to modern women who are balancing leadership roles, families, and ambitious careers.
A New Approach to Financial Confidence
Financial education has surged across social media in recent years, yet much of the advice circulating online comes from influencers who have never worked inside the complexities of professional financial planning. At the same time, traditional financial guidance often feels intimidating and overly technical for many women who simply want clarity and confidence about their money.
LaRue saw this gap firsthand during her decades advising clients. She recognized that many accomplished women were highly successful professionally yet still felt uncertain about organizing their personal finances or planning long term wealth strategies.
Through Boujee Boss Lady, she blends real world financial planning expertise with lifestyle design, mindset development, and practical financial organization tools. The goal is to make wealth strategy feel more relatable and empowering rather than overwhelming.
The Personal Inspiration Behind the Mission
The concept for LaRue’s platform began taking shape during a deeply personal season in 2022. While managing multiple businesses, raising two children, and caring for aging parents, she realized that even experienced financial professionals can struggle to prioritize their own financial organization and personal goals.
Curious whether other women felt the same way, LaRue began conducting candid interviews with successful female entrepreneurs and executives. What she discovered was eye opening. Many women were eager to talk about success, guilt, financial pressure, and the fear of making costly mistakes despite significant income or wealth.
These conversations eventually inspired LaRue to host a unique professional photoshoot experience for a small group of women. The event created a space where participants could openly celebrate their accomplishments and begin reframing their relationship with money, leadership, and identity.
The experience confirmed something LaRue had long suspected. For many affluent women, the biggest barrier to financial confidence is not money. It is isolation, fear, and a lack of safe spaces to learn and ask questions.
From Financial Advice to Financial Leadership
LaRue’s career includes significant milestones, including earning Top Producer recognition within her independent broker dealer, a distinction awarded to just seventy five advisors out of approximately four thousand nationwide. She maintained that recognition for more than a decade while building a respected advisory firm and loyal client base.
Today her focus has expanded beyond investment conversations to include longevity planning, health awareness, and long term lifestyle strategy. Her research has included interviews with long term care providers and participation in innovation initiatives at the MIT AgeLab focused on aging and future retirement trends.
As LaRue explains, successful women deserve more than pressure to perform.
“Successful women don’t need more pressure to perform. They need a safe, sophisticated space to finally understand their wealth, organize their lives, and celebrate the success they’ve worked so hard to build.”
Through speaking engagements, educational programs, and curated experiences, LaRue’s growing national platform is helping women move from financial avoidance to financial leadership.
