The comedian, content creator, and entrepreneur behind the brand Ei8ht Funny has done what many spend years trying to accomplish: build a loyal audience, land a brand deal, and carve out a distinct creative identity, all in less than twelve months.

Fisher’s story doesn’t begin with a viral moment or a lucky break. It begins with a podcast, a brother, and a shared childhood in the heart of the Midwest. In March 2025, he and his brother launched THA 319 — a podcast rooted in the stories, struggles, and humor of growing up in Waterloo, Iowa. Available now on his YouTube channel, the show laid the foundation for what was coming next.

By April 2025, Fisher had officially stepped into his solo content journey, and the internet took notice fast.

Armed with a Sony FX30 and a natural gift for making people laugh, Fisher grew his TikTok following to over 100,000 in a matter of months, accumulating more than 4 million views along the way. His content — a blend of skits, lifestyle, and comedy — resonated with audiences drawn to his unfiltered humor and relatable energy.

But perhaps the most talked-about element of his content is a character he didn’t just create — he unleashed. Meet D’Minkus “Mink Mink” Ambrose: Fisher’s alter ego, his fictional cousin, and arguably the breakout star of the Ei8ht Funny universe. Dressed in an orange prison jumpsuit, black beanie, cap, and dark shades, D’Minkus operates with zero responsibilities and even less of a filter. He’s reckless, unhinged, and completely at odds with the version of Fisher that’s constantly trying to reel him back in. The dynamic has become a fan favorite, giving the brand a comedic anchor that feels both original and wildly entertaining.

“I’ve always had a goofy side,” Fisher said. “I’ve always had a talent for making people laugh and a bright sense of humor — and then I figured I should really start putting this on camera.”

That instinct paid off. In addition to his rapid follower growth, Fisher appeared in a music video for a viral song and began receiving complimentary experiences and products as his social media recognition grew — the kind of momentum that signals a creator crossing from hobbyist to industry player.

Landing a Brand Deal With AMP’s Tone Exclusive

The milestone that perhaps best illustrates the trajectory of Orlando Fisher is his brand partnership with Tone Exclusive, a hygiene brand created by AMP — Any Means Possible — the influential streaming collective that has become one of the most recognized groups in digital entertainment. Securing that deal in under a year of creating content is the kind of co-sign that tells an industry exactly where a creator is headed.

For Fisher, it’s personal. AMP isn’t just a business partner — they represent a larger dream. “My goal is to work with them one day and collaborate with some of my favorite creators,” he said, “and one day make it on the big screen.”

That vision is grounded in something deeper than fame. Fisher is transparent about his driving motivation: providing for his family. “I want to be the provider,” he said. “I’ve always had a provider mentality. I’ve just never had the means to actually do it.” Content creation, for him, is the road that changes that.

Maintaining consistency remains one of his biggest challenges — keeping a clear head while managing the distractions that come with family, friendships, and the noise of the internet. But his philosophy keeps him anchored. “Knowing that what I’m doing has a greater cause,” he said, “not being shaken by the internet trolls or the haters — if I stay consistent, I can’t fail.”

His advice to anyone sitting on the sidelines waiting for the perfect moment is characteristically straightforward: “Start now. Stop making excuses for not creating because you don’t have certain things. Almost everybody has a phone in their pocket — you can start with that and grow as you go.”

And if something doesn’t work out? Fisher has a metaphor for that too. “Just because something fails doesn’t mean it’s over,” he said. “Recalculate and find a new road — just like a GPS.”

For a creator who went from a local podcast to a six-figure following and a national brand deal in under twelve months, it’s clear that Orlando Fisher is nowhere close to his final destination.
