When Ashley Miers describes herself as “an entrepreneur at heart,” it’s more than a tagline. It’s the through-line of a life defined by reinvention, creativity, and resilience. From her early years in Los Angeles chasing acting roles to her current projects blending neuroscience, nutrition, and music, Miers has built a portfolio of ventures rooted in one core truth: lived struggle can become someone else’s survival guide.
From Rock Bottom to Reinvention
Miers’ early career was promising. Her debut album, Aftershock, was released in partnership with Mental Health America for its tour and awareness efforts, and it earned national attention. Yet behind the curtain, she was battling depression, anxiety, and self-destructive habits. Multiple suicide attempts nearly ended her story before it began.
What changed everything was her decision to pursue recovery with the same intensity she once poured into performance. Sobriety, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Kundalini yoga became her foundation. That personal transformation eventually gave rise to Ashley Miers Health, where she now helps women “transcend the turbulence” of depression and self-doubt through coaching and structured group programs.
Business With a Mission
Like many entrepreneurs, Miers faced the challenge of building a business while healing herself. The breakthrough came through mentorship and structured learning. Joining Yuri Elkaim’s Healthpreneur program not only equipped her with marketing and operational skills but also taught her the value of surrounding herself with high-caliber peers.
“Every challenge you surmount will strengthen you,” she says. “Business is not static. It evolves—and so must you.”
Music, Food, and Mood
Her latest passion project, Dancing in the Kitchen, is proof that Miers’ entrepreneurial creativity is still expanding. Combining her musical roots with culinary wellness, the YouTube series has amassed more than 20,000 subscribers. With Roku distribution and talks underway with major streaming platforms, the show aims to position itself as a household brand.
“Media can be heavy and divisive,” Miers notes. “We want to be a force for positivity—reminding people that small, joyful habits can transform their mental health.”
The Vision Ahead
Her goals are ambitious: scaling her mastermind UPLIFT into a premier incubator for women’s dreams, becoming a sought-after speaker, and positioning Dancing in the Kitchen alongside major lifestyle and health platforms. Yet at the center is a simple philosophy: empowerment is contagious.
“If I can inspire even one woman to claim her worth, everything I’ve endured becomes meaningful,” she says.
