UWRO President Nail Saifutdinov: “We’re Where Faith Brings People Together”

UWRO (United World Religions Organization) is an international faith tech foundation that helps faith-based organizations use modern digital tools to stay connected with people and support them not only offline but online as well.

Nail Saifutdinov built UWRO as a practical, hands-on organization. The foundation does not interfere with traditions or debate theology; it focuses on what helps people in everyday life—building websites, apps, and media assets, strengthening social media communications, and training teams so the digital side is strong, clear, and respectful.

A digital environment where people feel comfortable

For a faith community today, it’s not enough simply to be online—it needs to be clear and accessible. UWRO helps create digital products where people can quickly find essential information, understand next steps, get answers to questions, follow updates, and feel a real connection.

UWRO works in an interfaith format and collaborates with organizations connected to 18 traditions: Catholicism, Orthodox Christianity, Protestantism, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS), Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Jainism, the Bahá’í Faith, Shinto, Zoroastrianism, Yoruba religion, Confucianism, the Armenian Apostolic Church, Anglicanism, and Taoism. Working across different cultures requires careful attention to language, wording, and tone—and for UWRO, that is nonnegotiable.

Remembrance and care: cemetery wayfinding solutions

UWRO’s second focus area is cemetery wayfinding systems. The foundation is developing solutions that help people locate a burial site using a person’s details and navigate the grounds with confidence. That reduces stress and makes a visit calmer—without extra searching or uncertainty.

For those who live far away, UWRO also develops care-from-afar services—so people can arrange flower delivery, cleaning, and ongoing upkeep while living in another city or country. The message is simple: distance shouldn’t cancel care.

What sets UWRO apart as an international project

UWRO doesn’t build disconnected, one-off projects. It creates a clear quality standard. Faith-based organizations get modern digital infrastructure, and people get convenient services related to remembrance. Alongside this, the foundation continues to expand other directions, guided by one principle: technology should be helpful, appropriate, and focused on what truly matters.
