Success once meant polished brands, demanding hours, and global prestige for Sandra Baas. But after a decade in luxury retail, she realized she’d built a life that looked perfect — but didn’t feel true. “I had lost my voice in the process of building everyone else’s,” she reflects. “So I decided to rebuild — not from scratch, but from experience.”
That decision led to Baas Studio, a consultancy rooted in authentic branding, emotional intelligence, and soul-centered strategy.
From Galgos to Global Storytelling
Baas’s journey began far from the corporate boardroom. In Spain, she founded Baasgalgo, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing galgos — Spain’s abandoned hunting dogs. Through emotional storytelling and strategic partnerships, she turned a local cause into an international movement supported by Spanish and global celebrities.
“That’s where I learned how stories change behavior,” she says. “It was proof that purpose and communication, when aligned, can save lives.”
The Power of Cultural Connection
Born in the Netherlands and shaped by years across Spain, Italy, and the Mediterranean, Baas’s worldview is deeply global. “My background allows me to help brands bridge cultures and speak to diverse audiences authentically,” she explains. “It’s not just strategy — it’s empathy through experience.”
Choosing Peace Over Performance
When Baas left her corporate role, she didn’t have a perfect plan — just conviction. “The pivotal moment was saying no to a life that didn’t feel like mine,” she says. “Authenticity felt riskier than success, but it was worth it.”
Now, she designs her days around creativity, clarity, and calm — often found meditating, walking along the beach, or playing with her dog, Louie. “Peace is part of my process,” she says. “Creativity needs space to breathe.”
Helping Others Find Alignment
As a consultant, Baas helps founders and creatives rebrand from the inside out. “Baas Studio isn’t an agency — it’s a space for alignment,” she says. “We build brands that don’t just look good but feel good.”
Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs? “Start before you’re ready. Reinvention isn’t about starting over — it’s about recognizing the wisdom you already carry.”
