Turning Adversity Into Advantage
Mingus once struggled to unify her experiences: mother of seven, entrepreneur, creative, and advocate. But when she shared her vulnerability online, everything changed.
“That post about living ‘in the middle’ went viral—1.4 million views,” she explains. “I realized my difference didn’t disqualify me. It positioned me.”
The Shifts That Elevated Her Influence
Three decisions reshaped her career:

The Next Evolution: Pageant CEO
Mingus’s completed book, Pageant CEO, is now available and serves as a comprehensive roadmap for contestants who want to generate revenue through speaking, UGC, collaborations, and sponsorships.
Workshops across national and international stages, collaborations with directors, and community-driven mentorship are expanding her mission.
“This is about confidence, not crowns,” Mingus says. “When a woman owns her story, she becomes unstoppable.”
