It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I have been in marketing for the last 10 years without truly realizing that it was my calling. I knew that I always loved building brands and building different businesses. But I wasn’t yet aware that my true calling was marketing those new ideas. You see, my story began a few years ago when a friend had asked me to help them build their beauty business in Toronto, Canada. We ended up helping them become the most popular and thriving brands in the city within 2 months of executing creative ideas and strategies to grow. Since then, I’ve been obsessed social media trends, customer journey, and the advancement of technology. Which leads my excitement to become one of the first marketing agencies to move onto Web 3.0. If you are unfamiliar with Web 3.0, it is similar to a decentralized web surfing experience. Web 3.0 is the third generation of internet services for websites and applications that will focus on using a machine-based understanding of data to provide a data-driven and Semantic Web. The ultimate goal of Web 3.0 is to create more intelligent, connected, and open websites. And I cannot wait to take Social Influenc. to become one of the first agencies on Web 3.0
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Success has not always come easy for me or my partners. You see, my partners and I all come from a background of struggle. Where some of us have had to endure being homeless at age 16, forced to grow up young and try to find our own way in the world. When you’re homeless as a child, you learn to fight to survive. You learn to become adaptable to change and you learn to find a way no matter what it takes. And that’s exactly what we’ve done when we came together to found Social Influenc. We found a way. We’ve adapted. We’ve done what it takes to succeed.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?
We specialize in social media marketing for your business. Most people see social media marketing as a strategy to get more followers and engagement for your profile. This is good – but we view it as the beginning of your customer journey. We specialize in taking someone to viewing your brand on social through an ad, influencer partnership, viral video, or organic content. Then taking them to your website or landing page to educate them about how your product or service can solve their problem. Getting the user to take action and eventually become a raving fan. What we do differently from businesses who work specifically in the small business services space, is rather than get you leads and send you contacts to follow up with on your own, we send pre-paid appointments through a strategic offering to get your customers to buy before they try.
What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?
If you’re searching for success within your business, the best piece of advice I have is to put your customer journey first. I see a lot of businesses fail because they want to put their highest ticket service forward, without a solid acquisition strategy in mind. Understand that the higher ticket your offer, the higher the barrier to entry. If you can put together an offer with a low barrier to entry, you will be able to get your product or service in front of even more people, making it easier for you to acquire more customers and upsell on your core offer. It’s easier to sell a high ticket offer to your customers than to strangers. So put together a customer journey that is able to take as many potential customers in as possible with a low barrier to entry. Because that’s how you will truly be able to scale your business at it’s maximum capability.
Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?
Success to me is my clients’ success. My clients being able to go from $0 to $100,000 in monthly revenue within the first year of launching. Taking a stay-at-home mom from doing eyelashes out of her bedroom to opening up her storefront salon with 12 staff. From helping scale a 1 location beauty brand to 11 locations across Canada. Success for me is ensuring that we can help our clients achieve every goal they’ve set out for themselves.
What’s next for you?
Our goal over the next year is to continue to grow as an agency and provide incredible results for our clients, helping them achieve their goals. As we continue to evolve our social media marketing strategies, we will also be building out new ideas. Internally, our team is focused on Web 3.0 and how we can take our clients over to a new web experience with new innovative ways to build their communities and market their business. We also plan on helping take it even further by integrating our clients’ brand experience with NFT’s. The world is ever-changing and so our marketing strategies and revenue-building ideas will continue to evolve with the world.
