Dan Price continues to dominate the tattoo industry. He made a name for himself, being a traveling high-end black and gray tattoo artist. Dan isn’t your typical tattoo artist. He prioritizes solidifying his client’s visions throughout every collaboration.
Dan Price started the Miami Lab in 2015 with hopes of becoming a high-end brand with the aesthetic of it being more than just a standard tattoo space. Dan wanted to create a place where people could come and experiment daily with their work and have personal goals that they could reach with a fundamental aim on how to get there.
Dan finds that demonstrating the growth and maturity of his work is the most satisfying aspect of his profession. When he first started, the ability to earn money was the most enjoyable aspect. Dan’s lifestyle became more sustainable as a result, and he was eventually able to rely less on his mother. Observing his clients’ emotions and how pleased they were with the finished product of his art became his most satisfying element as he aged. He took tremendous delight in improving his clients’ lives and making them feel more self-assured and badass. His ability to impart knowledge and experience to the men on his team and watch them develop into better people is currently what he finds to be the most fulfilling aspect of his profession.
